PRFW has reviewed the 1041 powers that counties have and will be discussing how they can be used when

 it comes to Federal and State mandates that affect your local economy. 
PRFW members and attendees this is your opportunity to pick up your elected officials within your 

county and bring them along to these meetings. 
Time is of the essence, we must help the powers within realize the power and ability 

they have and how simple it really is. 
The end result is very beneficial locally and state wide.

As you can see we will continue to have two meetings a month thru 2007. 
The first Tue. of each month in Platteville, the third Wed. of each month in Ft. Morgan.
As you know there are a lot of different things happing and a lot of different strategies being used. 

We encourage everyone to attend one or both of these 

very important meetings to see how PRFW is in support and how

 you can help your self by doing your part at home. Its been publicly asked to the Governor 

and his staff if they will help. 
PRFW can and will help you give him a reason to do so.

In Platteville on Feb. 6^th Ladd Bedford, a very prominent takings lawyer from San Francisco, who is preparing to file several local takings cases, will be available for questions.

Due to the Snow Storm on Dec. 20th the Meeting in Ft. Morgan has been 

rescheduled to Jan. 3rd 2007, 

which will take the place of the Platteville meeting.
We encourage everyone to attend this very important meeting. 

There are numerous issues that have surfaced and are very 

detrimental to Senior Surface and Groundwater Users.
It’s time that all water users in the 

South Platte Basin come together and make a stand.  
The plan is out and it is no longer a secret.
